Day Two ~ to Booth Bay Harbor

Tuesday, September 8th

On the road at 7:30 hoping to see some sites before the rain. Five minutes after leaving the Hampton Inn we were in New Hampshire. Sunny and 81 degrees right now.

First stop today ~ Ogunquit, Maine

We stayed here for a couple of nights about 18 years ago so it was fun to stop and see it again. The coast is beautiful here. We walked the Marginal Way and climbed on the rocks in the ocean. "The Marginal Way is a seaside path that stretches along the granite coastline of Ogunquit Maine. It offers more breathtaking vistas than any other trail on the southern Maine coast."
We were not disappointed. We started at Perkins Cove and walked to the small village of Ogunquit.

It was very hot so we ducked into a shop and acted interested so we could cool off in the air conditioning before starting back along the ocean path.

We stuck our feet in the refreshingly cold Atlantic Ocean and cooled off.

Thankfully the sun disappeared for a while making our return a little cooler. It was a great morning.
